Pico breaks record for the largest Chamarritas wheel
Açoriano Oriental reports that the island of Pico broke the record for the largest Chamarritas circle in the world, bringing together 812 people, at the Municipal Stadium of Madalena.
According to a press release from the municipality of Madalena, in a competition for the Guinness World Records, it was part of the “program of the biggest municipal festivals, the Festas da Madalena, and aimed to promote one of the most intrinsic local traditions”.
